Sydney - Thursday, 23 October 2003 - "Eclipse Computing (Australia) Pty Ltd, a national leader in business solutions, has taken its place among the ranks of the BRW Fast 100 for the fourth consecutive year. Eclipse’s listing at number 52 in the 2003 BRW Fast 100, in the ranking of Australia’s fastest growing small and medium sized companies, secures its position as one of the few consistently high achievers in Australia’s IT industry. Since 2001, when Eclipse first appeared in the BRW Fast 100, the company has grown by 82%, a result that defies the challenging operating conditions experienced by the technology sector in recent years. Eclipse specialises in providing business solutions for the mid-market including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Financials, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and payroll solutions. The company services more than 400 customers nationally and employs 100 people in offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Suva in Fiji. Eclipse’s listing in the 2003 BRW Fast 100 tops off a successful year for the company with continuing recognition of its position as one of the country’s top Microsoft Business Solutions partners. At the beginning of this month, Eclipse received Microsoft Business Solutions’ ‘Outstanding Partner for Asia Pacific’ award and in July was listed for the second consecutive year in Microsoft Business Solutions prestigious international Inner Circle, an accomplishment earned by just 1% of reseller partners globally. Mr Bradley Stroop, CEO of Eclipse Computing Australia, said he was honoured Eclipse was included once again in such a dynamic group of Australian companies. “It has been a tough few years for the information technology industry and this achievement validates the dedication and expertise of the Eclipse team,” Mr Stroop said. “Our growth is based on helping organisations to operate smarter and faster by using one or more of our intelligent solutions supported by our old-fashioned style of service.” Mr Stroop said Eclipse’s customer service philosophy was the primary reason behind the company’s on-going business success and industry recognition. “Very early on in the history of Eclipse Australia, we committed ourselves to providing exemplary customer service and establishing trust with our customers as a way of differentiating ourselves within the sector,” Mr Stroop said. “We pride ourselves on our philosophy of exceeding our customers’ expectations in terms of service, consistency and quality and we have seen the results of that commitment on our bottom line.” An entrenched customer service focus has also won Eclipse wide market recognition, including awards from their main suppliers - Microsoft Business Solutions, Pivotal and Systems Union - for high sales performance and exceptional customer satisfaction. Eclipse plans to continue to build its business momentum in coming months through further sales growth. “Well managed growth is now a trend for Eclipse,” Mr Stroop said. Eclipse has experienced an explosion in interest particularly in Microsoft Business Solutions from enterprise customers in the upper reaches of the corporate mid-market. “We are well established in the market and businesses trust Eclipse’s reputation for delivering the right solution with on-going service. It’s the right direction for Eclipse and we don’t plan to change our winning formula.” "
